Membership to the St Ives Trust (and therefore the Archive Study Centre) is of twofold benefit:
- You get to hear about all the activities of the Trust & Archive Centre and issues that may affect the town and its future
- You are supporting our work to preserve, protect and make available to everyone the diverse history of the town and its people
Without this direct support the Archive Centre would shut down and the future of our town would be more insecure.
The volunteers at the Centre feel passionate in their work and help the public daily from finding a member missing in their family tree, house & street history, art history, mining – in fact the volunteers have dealt with virtually every subject you can imagine – we now expect the unexpected question!
We decided to make membership very inexpensive as we would like everyone who cares for the town to be able to afford to be involved.
